Additional Information
Edward was baptised in MS on 30 Sep 1787 and died there on 19 Jan 1860 aged 74. He is described on his death certificate as a Sawyer, and died of Senile Decay (3 weeks). Hannah Kinge of Tadley registered the death, and Edward was buried at MS on 23 Jan 1860. At the time of the 1841 Census, he was living with son Charles in Ramsdell, widowed, and his uncle Anthony lived next door. Edward should appear in the 1851 census, but so far I have not found him.
Edward appears to have married Ruth TAYLOR on 21 Nov 1811 at Tadley. So far only one child of this couple has been identified. Ruth died in childbirth, or soon after, and was buried on the same day as her son was baptised.
