Anthony is possibly the bridegroom of Elizabeth HEDGECOCK at Wolverton, on 21 Oct 1782. Elizabeth was a widow, and one of the witnesses was Christopher RAMPTON. The wedding took place after banns, meaning that Anthony must have lived at Wolverton for at least a time. His age was given as 22 years and he was certainly described in the register as a bachelor of this parish. Anthony died 21 Dec 1844, aged 84, and his death certificate states he was living at Ramsdell, and the burial took place on 24 Dec 1844 at Wootton St Lawrence. Elizabeth was born Elizabeth APPLETON in Wolverton, and had married Mathew HEDGECOCK of Kingsclere on 12 Apr 1773 at Wolverton. No baptisms for Anthony & Elizabeth have been found in either Wolverton or Wootton St Lawrence.
