Additional Information
Charles William was an Apprentice Grocer in Huddersfield in the 1851 Census. I have not found him in the 1861 census yet, but by the time of the 1881 Census he had acquired a family and had changed career to Builder. At the time their son Edward was baptised, they were living in Church Street Kirkheaton.
In the 1901 census, there is an Edward BRIER, born Dewsbury circa 1870, working as a Stonemason in Camberwell, London.
