Additional Information

In the 1841 Census, the family is recorded at Duck Street Whitchurch, and in the 1851 Census in Mill Street Whitchurch. In 1861, only Jane and Solomon were living with their parents, in London Street Whitchurch.

In 1881, Mary (a former hourly nurse) was living in London Street Whitchurch with her single daughter, Elizabeth Jane (a charwoman), and a lodger. In 1891, Elizabeth Jane, now called Jane, was listed as a Paper Mill Worker, living alone in The Lynch, Whitchurch; in 1901, Jane was in the Workhouse.
