Additional Information

In the 1881 Census, Henry was listed as Charles, and was found living with his widowed Mother in Law in East Stratton. At the time of the 1891 census, the family, minus Mother in Law, were living in North Oakley, Kingsclere, and Esther Rosa was wrongly entered as Ellen R. Henry and Esther are buried together in Whitchurch Municipal Cemetery, the inscription reading:

Our Dear Mother and Father Esther Rosa RAMPTON and Henry Charles RAMPTON who fell asleep in Jesus Jan 4 and Jan 7 1924 aged 71 and 69
