Additional Information

The fourth child, John, is actually entered in the registers as the son of William & Sarah, but there was no William and Sarah having babies in Whitchurch at this time, and it is more likely that he fills the three year gap in John & Sarah's offspring.

In 1841, John and Sarah were living in Mill Street Winchester with a 2 month old child called Fred, presumably a grandson yet to be identified. In 1861, John was widowed and living with daughter Elizabeth and her family.
