Additional Information

In 1851, Ann was living with her two children with her parents in Micheldever, and Charles was living in St Mary Bourne together with plough boy George Brown. Given that James and Mary Ann were born in St Mary Bourne it is most probable that Ann was just on a visit to her parents rather than anything more long term. In 1861 the family was all living together in Knights Enham, and Charles had changed his occupation from Ag Lab to Railway Worker. By 1871, Charles had become a Platelayer, and the family were living in Railway Cottages, Knights Enham.
