Additional Information
As yet I have not found the marriage of John and Ellen. In the 1881 Census, they were living in Bentley, and had Ellen's brother William VINCE lodging with them as well as two children. By 1891, only one of the children remained with them, Ernest Carver, and he was now described as an adopted son.
