It is interesting that Anne bore an illegitimate child whom she named William Bennet Rampton, in 1806, as three years later her sister Frances married a man called William Bennet from Neatham. Was the baptism entry wrong and it was Frances who bore William? Or did William Bennet switch affections from Anne to Frances?
