Additional Information

In 1851 Alfred was living in Martyr Worthy. In 1861, the family lived in Bishops Sutton. At home with them was Sara BUDD, a visitor, who married William (Alfred's brother) in May 1861. By 1881, Alfred was dead, and Eliza was living in Bishops Sutton with Henry and Annie, whilst William, James, and Alfred were all working on the railways and lodging in Brighton, SSX. In 1891 and 1901, Eliza is found on her own in Bishops Sutton.

I am not sure that the second child, Alfred, is theirs as I only have the burial record so far. He certainly fits neatly into this family. Mary Ann and Betsey were living with the family in 1861, but in 1881, Mary Ann could be found living with the Davey family in Brighton, William's soon-to-be parents in law.
