Where They Lived
In April 1843, the family were living at 6 Pitt Street, St George the Martyr Southwark.
In the 1851 Census, John and Joseph were living with their uncle and aunt William and Ann Mee at 2 Romney Place Greenwich; Jane, Henry Holland and James were living with their Holland grandparents at 29 Market Place Greenwich. Henry and Jane are nowhere to be found.
In 1859, at the time Joseph Francis drowned his father appears to have been alive and probably living in Greenwich, but the newspaper report of the drowning only gives William Mee's address, 5 Alexander Terrace Bridge Street.
