Additional Information

The Marriage bond recorded that William was "of East Tytherley", which does not mean to say that he was born there, and his name was spelled RAMPEN, rather than RAMPTON. Overton and East Tytherley are some distance apart, and since Martha was most probably already pregnant when they married it was a long way for them to travel.
